Owen Knowles

With extensive experience guiding startups from pre-seed to Series B, I've served in pivotal roles such as Group COO at VeUP/Quadri Ventures and Chief of Staff at BlueOptima, driving growth and operational excellence. As an exited founder, mentor, and senior executive, I specialise in building high-performing teams and fostering innovation, offering interim leadership and mentorship to founders. My passion lies in supporting entrepreneurial journeys, leveraging my expertise as a TPC Mentor and Angel Investor to help founders scale their businesses and achieve their visions.

Neil Knowles

I have over 30 years of technical and general management experience ranging from small consulting companies, to major multinationals. In my career, I have managed companies in periods of growth, diversification and internationalisation through to eventual sale from positions including technical director, marketing director, VP and MD. 

 

My expertise is mainly in oil and gas, covering engineering, software, asset support and project delivery. Individual projects have included project definition, asset management planning, integrity management and asset acquisition.

 

The adage ‘fail to plan and plan to fail’ is particularly relevant to small business growth where understanding the implications of future changes is key to making good decisions and reaping the rewards. My aim is always to understand the client’s current business and future aspirations and use my experience to identify ways to maximise opportunities while limiting risk.
